The albatross can fly over 10,000 miles without stopping, spending years at sea before returning to land. It mates for life.
In the stormy seas of modern culture, marriage—like the albatross—requires both endurance and fidelity.

Marriage remains one of the most intimate expressions of covenant relationship on earth—a living picture of Christ and His Bride.
Yet, in our generation, marriages face significant challenges: cultural redefinition, social media comparison, economic pressure, emotional disconnection, and spiritual apathy.
The family unit is foundational to society, and the stability of marriage has profound implications for families and communities. We must therefore pray with intentionality and perseverance for marriages, especially those within the Body of Christ.
1. Christ at the Centre of Marriage
Pray that husbands and wives in LWGLM and beyond would place Christ at the absolute centre of their marriages. May every major decision, conflict, and dream be submitted to His Lordship.

2. Grace for Forgiveness and Healing
Ask the Lord to release the grace for genuine forgiveness in marriages where offence, bitterness, or unresolved pain has built walls between spouses. May the power of the cross heal what human effort cannot.

3. Protection Against Attacks on Christian Marriages
Pray against attacks on Christian marriages through temptation, communication breakdown, financial stress, and emotional estrangement. Pray for God's protection, wisdom, and strength over every marriage.

4. Divine Intervention for Troubled Marriages
Intercede for couples who are on the brink of separation or divorce. Ask God for divine intervention and for moments of grace that can transform even the hardest hearts.

5. Emotional and Spiritual Intimacy
Pray for married couples to prioritise emotional intimacy, spiritual partnership, and consistent quality time. May couples intentionally invest in their marriages and nurture the relationship God has entrusted to them.

Over marriages in this season:
God remains the restorer of what has been broken and the reviver of what has grown cold.
Where hearts are surrendered to Him, healing, renewal, reconciliation, and fresh strength shall arise again.
May marriages become stronger, homes become places of peace, and families become living testimonies of God's covenant faithfulness.
